New OEM tpms sensors installed yesterday on 2015 Ford f150 and now needed to train the sensors. Attempted the training numerous times using all the tips and tricks in the reviews and Instructions. Battery is fixed and not replaceable and even if it was whose spending time and money tracking down and paying for a fixed soldered battery on a $12 item. By the looks of the product, I got one that was previously returned because it didn't work for them either.Waste of time and money for all involved.

Perfect tool for TPMS relearn process saved me a trip and at least 100 AED for reprogramming, I recommend itSo I had to replace two sensors on my 2016 F150, I bought two original ones and replaced them , however they need to be reprogrammedThe place where I replaced the sensors doesn’t do programmingI searched and tried and then I decided to buy this relearn toolBelow is the process for F150 relearn process1. Put the car in TPMS relearn mode a. While the key is in the car push the start button or turn the switch to on position as following without hitting break the engine is off On-Off-On-Off-On Press break and release Off-On-Off-On-Off-On maybe another Off-onThe car will honk and it say train left front tireOnce you receive the message2. Run relearn process using the toola. Go to Front driver tire and keep the tool close to the sensor and keep clicking on the green button until the car honkb. Go to passenger front tire and get close to the sensor with the tool and keep clicking on the green button until the car honkc. Go to rear passenger tire and get close to sensor with the tool then keep clicking on the green button until the car honkd. Go to rear driver tire and get close to the sensor with the tool then keep clicking on the green button until the car honk and you will Hear the final chime and the learning like this is completeGood luck…

There's two separate procedures for programming your new or same sensors. For tire rotations:Turn your key to the on position without starting the vehicle and press the hazard light switch six times within 10 seconds to re-train your sensors. No need to let the air out, just start with the left front wheel with this programmer and it will work great. If you have a new sensor or replacing all new sensors you have to RESET the entire TPMS with this method. Make sure you drive around the block first before programming, because you need the sensors to wake up and turn on. They shut off after 20 minutes of the vehicle being off to save battery power.New sensor method:STEP 1: Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then press and release the brake pedal.STEP 2: Cycle the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position 3 times, ending in the RUN position.STEP 3: Press and release the brake pedal.STEP 4: Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.STEP 5: Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position 3 times, ending in the RUN position.• The horn will sound once and the TPMS indicator will flash if the training mode has been enteredsuccessfully. If equipped, the message center will display TRAIN LF TIRE.

Regular relearn procedure doesn’t work for new or different than original sensors. This makes programming sensors painless, no messing around letting air out. Worked on my 2018 f150 when I installed 2016 wheels with 2016 factory sensors.

It did the job finally, it took some time to complete the job, but it is done .. sometimes it will take several tries and several repeating of the learning mode due to some tires will not pickup the signal from first try.. you need to be patience and keep trying.. it took me around 10 times then it was fully done.. some tyres might seems wont read at all, but keep changing the angle and try again and again and it will read them all at the end..It saved me a trip to the shop and saved me good $$..As a value I consider it a good deal and recommend it to people willing to wait and try. For people who wants the job to be done from first hit, there are other much expensive options out there to be looked into..

I put aftermarket TPMS sensors in my F150. The truck would not sync or recognize the new sensors. I was a little worried because I knew it was bit of a gamble to do this on my own. I could not find clear info on the internet on if the learning tool was needed or not. Many said the truck would just recognize them after driving a few days. Not so. I purchased this tool then. My truck would still not recognize the signals during the learning process - even with the tool.I noticed the LED would only blink once when the button was pressed and then remain off. Was that normal? Out of frustration and some desperation, I opened the tool and measured the voltage on the battery at 3.0V. A new one is 3.2V. The original battery is spot welded, and not knowing if the battery was a problem, I just used some test leads and the new battery in parallel. The LED burned bright when holding the button and stayed on. The truck instantly learned the new TPMS sensors. All was good.I have since replaced the old battery with the new one. The tool works like a champ with a good battery. I'm keeping it.

For all you DIY'ers out there, this is a triumphant moment. Don't let some greaseball mechanic tell you you need to take your car to their tire shop where they will charge you upwards of $50-$60 per tire to install and program new TPMS sensors; I bought the cheapest (compliant) programmable sensors off Amazon I could find for $32 for a set of 4. I took them to a small mom/pop tire shop where they gladly put them on my tires for a total of $40. The condition was, they couldn't program them. So I bought this thing for $12, and ouila, it worked perfectly with my 2015 Ford Edge, with pushbutton start instead of key ignition; process is the same. So, grand total of $84 spent to get brand new sensors up and going for another 10 years, instead of $240. Screw overpriced repair shops! You can do it!

This product did work as advertised. With the sequence described, system went into ‘training’ mode and each sensor responded to the unit and progressed the sequence through each tyre until complete. This tells me that each sensor is functioning (which I’d had checked already by a tyre garage) and can communicate with the management unit (which I didn’t know for sure)Unfortunately my ‘sensor(s) not detected - check handbook’ error popped up again on cue after about 12 miles.Worth a try and depending on the nature of your problem, this might work for you.Didn’t for me but I think the tool works.

Used this on my 2016 F-150. put my summers on the truck and then entered tire training mode using the the hazard light method, proceeded to use the fob at each tire as prompted, all 4 wheel sensors are working with no issues. Took about 2 minutes to complete. Highly recommend
