Bought this to regulate vacuum level for a composite fabrication vacuum bagging setup. For that purpose, it's perfect. Input and output ports are 8mm push in. Those connectors are new to me, but they seem common on some import vacuum systems, and they work fine. I'm using it with some 5mm ID 8mm OD polyurethane tubing from mcmaster. The gauge reads in kPa I believe, and it's off by about 10%. That's a little annoying, but acceptable for my application, and the offset is consistent. It reads -10 at atmospheric pressure. The gauge port seems to be 1/8" NPT, so it could be swapped for another gauge, or plugged. The vacuum adjustment is "pull up to adjust, push down to lock" and the action is a bit stiff. I thought I'd break it pulling it up the first time. But it works fine.Minor overshoot on regulation, but other than that it works fine. I'm using it with a constant pump input on the supply side, don't know if it would work in a static application. I don't believe it has any check valve built in. But for my purpose? It's perfect and is a lot less than a name brand model. Anything from around 15 to 90% vacuum is easy.

This is garbage. The gauge is very poorly made and the adjustment is terrible. I’ve already thrown it out. Since I installed it and threw away the packaging, I really can’t return it. What a waste.

Works as advertised. Gauge arrived with needle at -15KPA.Cannot zero the gauge, but it still moves the appropriate amount, just offset by 15KPA.Not a great airflow throughput, but as expected after checking manufacturers website before purchase.Fast shipping.

It does what it's supposed to do, reads your vacuum depth and can control your vacuum. But if you're needing to pull a deep vacuum, Do not use this. It's quick connects, leak and will prevent you from pulling and holding a deep vacuum. With it connected, I could not even get a vacuum low even for my micron meter to even read(My micron meter will not read anything higher than 20,000 micron). Now if they chanced the tube connectors from a "shark bite" style to compression fittings, it would work great, but as of now, it's nothing but a paper weight.
