Been installed less than six months and having issues. Pump randomly loses power and has to unplugged and plugged back in to restart. Luckily I have been home to catch it.

Works great and comes with many options for connecting hoses! MDP-5000 is too powerful for my Remora Pro Skimmer but on the other hand, can come in handy if you want to "wet" skim to force quicker water changes. Love the ability to open mobile app and click the "Feed" button. Would buy again!

I purchased the 3500 L/hr pump and have it running at 80%. This pump is silent. I can’t hear it over my skimmer (Reef Octopus 110INT), which is also very quiet. The controller is nice and easy to use. My previous pump was an AC pump and while quiet, having no control sucked. I like having a feed mode and easy adjustability. The power tuning is in increments of 1%, so very fine.Will follow up after putting some time on it.

This is a great and strong return pump. Easy to install and set up, the app doesn’t give you much control of the pump. But you can tune it with the controller.I did have my controller screen stop working after about a hour. But the seller was quick to send me a new controller and I couldn’t be happier

Had a Sicce pump that a replaced with this. I wanted something quiet and adjustable but all DC pumps are super expensive. This hit all the requirements for me at a friendly price. Been going strong for 6 months now and still performs the same. Would not hesitate to purchase another one for future builds. Grade A stuff

it includes one fitting for each size of hose, I cannot even use this pump because of this. DO NOT BUY if you want to use as inline pump

Excellent DC pump for the price. Touch controls very sensitive and at times frustrating because if you brush up against the touch pad you can accidentally turn it off or put into feed mode. To connect wireless make sure you have the pump on a 2.4 ghz network otherwise it will never pair. Overall it is a great pump on my Red Sea Reefer G2 aquarium. Haven’t had it for long so can’t speak about longevity.

Using as main return pump on my 110g Reef. I've previously used a standard Danner/Mag Drive for 5+ years that was extreamly reliable and still working til this day. I wanted something with a controller for feeding time and ability to adjust flow. So far pump has been perfect and I'm happy with the product. Been running 24/7 for two months will update down the road.The build is very clean and looks good in sump. Also the controller looks good with the rest of my controllers. A good way to extend the life of any controller/equipment is if possible don't leave devices under your cabinet or near your sump. They will eventually gather moisture and deteriorate.
