Warm Tip:
When you remove or tighten the bolt that goes into the A-pillar, you must be extra careful. If you're not careful with it, the bolt may drop behind the plastic trim piece on the A-pillar then you have to remove the trim piece to get the bolt.

1) I installed these on a 2016 JKU the day before a 2200-mile road trip last week. I had to deal with what sounded like an annoying squeak or rubbing sound for the first 1100 miles. I located some lock washers and reinstalled the handles since the bolts were rubbing against the windshield frame. This eliminated the problem. Alternatively, you could cut and grind a little bit off of the end each bolt. Lock washers are simpler.2) Original bolt removal. The side bolts may fall inside the trim if you are not careful. I rolled a small piece of construction paper into a tube and inserted it into the hole (I couldn’t find my deep socket - it is off partying with all of my lost 10mm sockets).3) The upper tube is beveled. The beveled end goes on the handle and points toward the center. Think of this as pointing toward the opposite handle. Also, you may want to run a nut on the included installation bolts to clean up the threads before attempting to install them.4) The visors don’t extend fully, but this is minor. My dashcam already interferes with the visors.5) The handles will likely get hot in the Texas heat, but also not a show stopper.Overall, I like them so far. They are solid and well made.

The installation requires simple tools and a little bit of time (about 30 minutes). Recommend magnetic tools/sockets to retain the bolts that need to come out. Lost my socket behind molding 2 times due to not being carefull so that added a little to the installation time. The only con I have is that you can't push the sun visor all the way forward after installation but the handles are rock solid. This is the second set I have installed and now have them in both of my Jeeps.

Very reasonably priced. Feel very substantial and sturdy. Hardest thing was getting top bolt out . Small impact finally broke it loose. My son had some that cost much more, I’d put up these up against them in a minute.
