The switch has no continuity in the on position, Only in the off position, is when it has continuity. Therefore, It will not work properly as an on/off switch for a riding lawn mower.

Not an “Ignition operation” switch! The switch is accurately identified as ON-OFF operation. It may be ignition TYPE but it is not start/run/off operation. Good ditch, Four star only because the description of function could be better. I should have made sure this was a replacement for my 690646 switch.

Key worked in opposite direction than intended - did not return to start position and the thread stripped when tightening the mounting nut.
