I bought this latches because the description said you don’t need to drill anything, but whenever I’m installing it, I realize that it doesn’t fit and I’d have to drill new holes if I want it to fit.I didn’t want to drill so in returning it.Material seems good and has a nice look. That’s the only reason why I gave it a 2 star

Es plástico, no aluminio. Fue necesario cortar un borde para realizar el montaje(JK2016), el seguro de los broches no regresa por lo cual es necesario ayuda al momento de cerrar el capó ya que estos impiden el cierre. Uno se los seguros no embona y cuando el vehículo brinca éste se bota. Mal producto

As other customers have stated, the pegs don't fit the alignment holes so you have to make the holes wider. My main problem with is that the latches are sprung in such a way that they close on one side while you're trying to take the other one off or close the hood. You'll go nuts trying to get them from latching. You shouldn't need a helper to open/close your hood.

If you have a JK you will need to remove the plastic tabs on the back. It is very easy to do.

It can be done with some minor modification before installation. There's no need to drill holes and i don't like to do that in case if i ever reinstall the OEM parts. You will find 2 studs on each side will not line up with the factory holes. So what I idid is to cut the studs on both sides and file it down until it's flushed. That is it! Tie the bolts down and it will not move and feels solid. It really changed the look of my Jeep and no more flop on highway!
