I've used both neoprene and fleece lined girths in the past and decided to try something new. The wool blend felt lining of this girth gives the right amount of 'grip' without causing excessive sweating. The leather overlay itself is better looking than the nylon webbed ones on my previous girths. The only con is that the lining and overlay don't come apart - both my neoprene and fleece models do, which makes cleaning a little easier. The materials seem of high quality and the construction is good. So for a reasonably priced girth, I give it a thumbs up.

The girth is well made for a synthetic. It doesn't say how much wool is in the "blend", but it feels like synthetic felt.The stitching, leather pieces, and hardware seem good.Foe the price, It is reasonable quality.

Good quality for price.Works great.like that the ring ends are backed so they are not rubbing on the horse, better than string girths. The roller buckle feature sure is an improvement over other cinches as well.
