This arrives with the individual segments sort of stacked together and all of it wrapped in bubble wrap. When I picked up the box, I was afraid something glass had broken in transit, but it was just the metal clinking around.It comes with a hook attached at the top, so hanging is just a matter of choosing your location (and adding a nail or ring, if necessary).This is LONG. I know they said 8.5 feet, but it is quite generous in length. Another reviewer got 2 chains out of it, and depending where you're trying to direct the water, that's absolutely an option. If I hang it on the porch ceiling, it actually reaches below the level of the deck.The colors are muted but lovely - not too loud to be in nature, IMO. They blend in nicely with their surroundings. If you're looking for something bright to make a statement, this maybe isn't for you, but if you'd like a bit of subtle ornamentation, this is an excellent choice.Solid 4. Absolutely recommend. I love hummingbirds and this is a beautiful wind chime. True to the length advertised. Was a bit long for our gazebo but was easily able to double up a few notches at the top so it isn’t dragging in ground. Very pretty sent. Good material that will last in the rain, and sounds beautiful in the rain.
