So far so good with this regulator. Was the exact fit as the original JD regulator and after a month of use still no issues. Replacing the regulator fixed my battery light from always being on. When I first replaced the regulator it took about a day of using the tractor for the battery light to go out. I assume it needed to charge the battery up to a certain level and it took some time.

This regulator burned up my electrical system and left tractor inoperable, DO NOT BUY, going to cost over $1000 to repair wiring harness and electroniccs.JD 4100
