I love the ridges in the water side. It's kind to your brushes and gets the leftover paint off them really well. The second side holds your wet brushes (very convenient). I haven't used them yet, but there are holes to stores brushes around the basin. It's plastic, so very lightweight and I imagine travels well as it has it's own palette. I'm very happy with this new addition to my studio.

Utilitarian sturdy water holder and in use brush holder with palette. Nicely snaps together.Just very boring to look at. I am sorry I would have enjoyed some nice dynamic designs or colors on it.

I love this basin! The inside of the large compartment has ridges on the bottom which is helpful to clean your brushes in between use. I am an acrylic painter, and the top paint palette has been super handy. It comes with a lid that fits over the palette. I was working on a painting recently and put the lid over the paint palette not expecting it to save my paints from drying out at all. I was just too lazy to clean the palette. Well a few days later I came back to the project and was pleasantly surprised to see that the wells of paint weren’t dried out at all! Some of the wells that had small amounts of acrylic in them were dry but the ones where I put a good teaspoon of paint in were still useable. I love this basin!

Good size and I like that there is a place for clean water as well as a place for cleaning brushes. The holes along the side would be okay for holding dry brushes but wet brushes should lay flat to dry. Leaving them upright to dry can damage them if water runs into the ferrule.

Love this. Holds a good amount of water. Holds brushes to dry. Love that you can cover your paints so they don’t dry out. Was so impressed, I purchased one for my daughter, who is an artist. She loves it, too!

Easy to clean and I researched similar bins. Some were cheaper but I chose this one because I love the rounded palette grooves because it makes it so much easier to mix the paints and also much easier to clean. Sturdy and attractive looking. Has stayed white and doesnt stain. Dropped it on the floor and has not broken. Very glad I chose this water bin.

Loving this brush basin!!! I appreciate its portability (when empty) since the lid doesn't seal onto the top well enough. I also enjoy the large volume for water which has saved trips to empty and refill my previous water cups/containers. Also when need be I can feel both chambers with water when I'm working on large projects with bigger brushes.There are two chambers, one for water with a textured bottom for rubbing your brush along to clean (does the job well). The other chamber has little angled slots (only a few) that can hold some of the smaller handled brushes for dripping off the excess water. It also makes for a good spot to hold brushes up at the right angle for deep conditioning. The slots around the basin are great for holding even my larger brushes though many of them slip through the hole to rest on the table or surface its on, but that doesn't bug me since I normally have paper under all my painting stuff.
