Great quality, true to size. Thick but not overwhelmingly thick, can move around with flexibility. Super functional. Great pants!

I bought these at the last minute before my trip to Iceland this past winter. Just before leaving I was advised that I needed water resistant and wind resistant pants because of all the waterfalls I would be visiting, especially for a visit the black volcanic sand beach. They were very comfortable and a great price. Standing out in the middle of the night viewing the North Lights I was comfortable and warm. Even when I got wet from waterfalls and geysers I was well protected. The pants also fit great over more heavy Swiss hiking boots. An incredible value!

Outer shell is waterproof and lining is soft and keeps me warm when working outdoors. Fits as expected and elastic waist with adjustable belt makes pants comfortable.

These pants are great. Comfortable, warm, durable. However, they come packed in a vacuum bag which creates wrinkles in the pants that are difficult to remove. I wear them for outdoor work so its not a big deal for me but might be for others.

very good quality, material seems breathable so it does not hold moisture like some ski pants. Fit it perfect, warm enough in cold days and not uncomfortably warm indoors. Only negative thing is the packing that caused wrinkles that are hard to iron, but a couple of tries and they are almost gone.

I do photography as a hobby and spend a good chunk of my year in upstate New York where there's a lot of great wilderness. As November rolls around and it's no longer oppressively hot I get the itch to go adventuring outside and explore the natural landscape. This means being outside in chilly conditions, sometimes staying still for extended periods, certainly trampling through muddy or wet, certainly challenging terrain, and getting into all kinds of positions to take the best shots I can. What this means is I needed pants that were1) Warm!2) Water and muck resistant3) DURABLE4) Affordable (because whatever I wear is going to get chewed up fairly quickly and dropping $200 on a pair of pants to ruin them fast sucks)5) Had cargo pockets big enough to help me somewhat carrying an extra lens or other accessories. These pants just arrived this morning, so I"ll update the review perhaps as I get more experience with them BUT from the get-go I can say a few things.1) They look pretty good! The khaki color on the website was definitely misleading with my pair. The pants are WAY darker and much more greenish brown than a light khaki. I actually LIKE the color a lot, so this was lucky, but this is something others might want to know. The pockets that come around from the side to the front look a LITTLE bit unusual to me but no biggie. I always order pants in 32/32 and the fit is great on me.2) The insulation is decent! It's not nas warmly insulated as my Carhartt insulated jeans, nor my old Eddie Bauer lined pants, but it's still keeping me noticeably warmer than uninsulated. I'm sure with some long johns underneath these pants will do quite nicely. Also, the material is SOFT and feels great.3) The water resistance seems moderate but definitely there, and I guess as you'd expect it's pretty reasonable, like if you spill water or liquids on it you'll see a lot of it bead up and roll off, and some of it penetrate. We'll see how it goes after I've taken these on some adventures.4) The cargo pockets are fairly spacious, but I'm not crazy about the placement. They're not as big as I get on my BDU's for sure, but they're decent. I'm not crazy about how they wrap around the side of the knee, as whatever I put in there is going to be banging up against bone and that's not very comfortable. I would rather the pockets be higher up on the thigh where the body provides plenty of natural padding and keeping stuff in the pockets can't lead to any discomfort or (if carrying a lens) banging and bruising. That all being said, for this price I'm quite happy to have a pair of pants with this level of quality!Looks good, affordable, seems to do what it's made to do! So far, I'm happy with my purchase. We'll REALLY see in a few months after they've gone adventuring with me.

In 2020, I bought 3 of these trousers one after the other. Love them and still use them. This one however was an ill fit so returned it immediately.

These pants are incredibly comfortable and very nice and warm. They're not "waterproof" but fairly water resistant and make a great outer layer for winter camping. I thought that they ran just a slight bit on a large size but that's not necessarily a bad thing if you want to put another layer underneath. The belt that comes with them is pretty useless, but that is definitely not a deal breaker. I looked at pants with similar features at REI. Those were of course the big name brands and probably would prove to last a lot longer than these, but they're almost 2 and 1/2 times more expensive. My primary use for these would be winter car camping and winter photo excursions. For that type of use, these will work perfectly. Wouldn't want to use these to scale Everest, but then again that's not what I'm looking for. If you're looking for a decent pair of wind/water resistant, semi-insulated pants for some winter activities at a reasonable price, these are a pretty darn good deal.

these are lined but not insulated.... stink like petrolium products when unpacked... -40c happens here... lining glued to the inside of the pants does not equal insulated..... also why is the belt that was included 2 inches shorter than the waste band of the pant.... Who does that
