Dental bibs have another use - they act as a waterproof paper towel. One side has a waterproof coating on it, so I grab these when I need to protect a surface from a dirty or wet job. Great as placemat while potting plants, pouring things, I even use them while changing my aquarium water. They are very lightweight like a paper towel, but provide that extra protection from things that would soak through a paper towel. Super convenient. This bulk pack comes in an assortment of colors.

I admit that the way I use these is totally random--I use them when I'm making bouquets out of fresh flowers. The flowers come out of buckets of water and leave a water trail behind. Eventually I'm left with puddles of water all over my work surface. Now, I place one of these down under each pile of flowers, and my problem is solved. It works much better than the paper towel I was trying to use.
