My kid wears a size 10-12, so that's the size I got. While they fit well, and are not as tight as bike shorts, they are not loose as described either. If you want a loose fit, you'll likely have to size up. They are super sparkly, and my kid likes them and finds them comfortable. There are no pockets.

Soft and comfortable to wear. They fit true to size. I like that the lining material stays around the bottom and creates a border. It keeps the scratchy sequins away from the skin. My kiddo loves the sparkle and the soft pink color

If you have a little girl who loves pink and sparkly things, this will be a home run. My daughter is so happy to have these cute little shorts. Even though they are full of sequins, the lining and waistband really make them a comfortable clothing item. They aren't too short, so I appreciate that as well.

These are adorable! I love the sparkly sequins, the material feels good, and they're nicely made. I actually ordered them for myself as an adult (5' 8", 128 lb) in the largest size for a costume and they fit perfectly. They're more snug on me than a child or teenager, but they look like the sparkly hot pants I was going for. I'm really impressed by the quality and find them surprisingly comfortable. Very pleased!

These are very cute shorts. My daughter is very picky about the way things fit her and she said they were comfortable, and she loved the sparkle. She likes that they are high waisted, as anything down by her hip bones bothers her. They fit true to size compared to other size 7/8 shorts that she has. We love the sparkle!

My daughter loves Taylor Swift. If I come across an article of clothing that looks like something Swift wore throughout her Eras tour, I'll pick it up. Did she actually wear pink sequined shorts? I don't know, but they fit well, they're lined with a soft material, and they look good--they're loose and flowy.
