This is a great little kit for hand sewing and quick repairs! It has six different sizes of needles, ranging from 1.5" to 2.6", although the larger ones are NOT thick tapestry needles. These are all regular sewing needles. There are five of each size, and the needles seem well made and smooth. The kit also comes with two plastic thimbles, a thimble ring, TWO threaders (nice, because you always lose one), and a seam ripper. The needles store in a very nice wooden tube with a screw top, and then everything stores in a small transparent plastic box that snaps shut. I'm actually astonished that the price point for this is so low, I would expect it to cost more.

This set is perfect for any hand sewing project, the kit includes 30 needles in various sizes, along with a thimble, seam ripper and threader. It is great to have these on hand for mending clothes or sewing on buttons. Great value for a large pack of quality hand sewing needles.

I've found sewing kits to be useful especially to create costumes with an on-the go life. This kit hides in an assortment of places, and its parts seem particularly usable - strong needles with large eyes, & sharp tips. A few extra tools you do tend to use (and lose). This is great to round out a project kit if you can't find the last source of threaders and needles in a pinch. Nothing seems to be junk. I've had an item change on me in the far past. At purchase this was called "JIBENGAO 30 PCS Hand Sewing Needles Large Eye Hand Sewing Kit, 6 Sizes for Embroidery, Mending, DIY Crafts Needles for Hand Sewing – Includes Threaders & Thimble for Easy Sewing" This is a new product, so it's description may adjust to suit the product over time. The pictures match what I got.

Finally, I can sew again. Heading into my 40s has been a challenge. My eyes are starting to change and I no longer can see things clearly up close even with reading glasses. I went out and got large eyed needles and still couldn’t thread them using a needle threader because the eyes were much too small. So I went online.All of these needles have larger eyes than the pack of large eye needles I got at a local store for the same cost. I will include some comparison photos.The needles are strong and sturdy, not flimsy. I love the screw on needle holder so if you drop it, they will not scatter everywhere. One thing to note, they came in the case both directions. I wasn’t expecting that and I’m not able to see as “sharply” so ouch! Take caution getting them all pointed sharp side down as they are quite sharp.The true test: I was able to thread one of the needles for the first time without trouble! Back to sewing for me.Everything comes in a plastic storage box and whereas it is nice, I do wish the UPC label was easily removed. It is a large label and it’s cockeyed. It is stuck there for the long haul as I don’t want to deal with the sticky residue it would leave behind. Not a big deal, but worth pointing out.As for the contents: I was surprised at the quality of the thimbles. I liked that they had different sizes, too. This was a bonus as I normally can’t use thimbles as they usually only include a small size. The seam ripper is the basic type that comes with nearly all sewing kits and the needle threaders are an upgrade from the foiled ones you normally receive. All of these additional accessories are nice, but I would have been happy with just the needles and case. It’s the nicest part of the package and what we all are actually likely looking for anyway. I’m happy with this sewing kit and I think you’ll be as well if your main goal is getting quality large eyed needles.

The needles in this kit seem quite nice, their tips are something between a "Universal" and "Ball Point" machine needle, so will work for pretty much any kind of fabric. They are NOT heavy enough for sewing leather (and don't claim to be) Looking at them under my magnifier, they look to be well made and smoothly finished. The eyes are large enough to make threading easy, and there is a nice variety of sizes.The case for the needles is CLASSY, a machined wooden tube with brass fittings where the top and bottom screw together.The rest of the accessories are good quality but less impressive:The seam ripper is pretty much the standard sort, it is sharp and good qualityThe threaders have the typical wire loop on one side, but add the extra touch of having an embedded thread cutter blade (a nice touch)The thimbles are perhaps OK, but ony if you have SMALL hands... There are two rubber and plastic finger tip thimbles, the largest will barely fit my little finger, the smaller one won't. They do appear to be pretty good quality, and would probably work really well if only they fit... There is also a brass ring thimble that can be spread open wider (takes considerable effort) and I was able to make that sort of fit... The small thimbles is what kept me from giving 5 starsThe plastic box is a pretty good one as they go - it closes snugly and latches securely...Bottom line - great if you have small hands, OK if you have big hands and other thimbles...

I needed a replacement needle for an embroidery project and this package exceeded my expectations. I have everything I need to complete any embroidery project in the future, too.
