I use it as a med prep platform beneath the medicine cabinet. Very sturdy and it works great. One thing that made it really work for me, is that it has a lot of side to side adjustability to make it narrow or wide. It was hard to find a narrow enough drawer for my application. I did have to do a little modification to the bottom of the cabinet to get rid of the recess and make it flat. As a caregiver it made the perfect addition.

I am doing my best to not have to buy a new desk at the moment. Instead I've been trying to make use of the space I have. This allows me to keep the desk top clear and have room for my monitor and stands without being so cramped. It feels pretty solid, no problems with it being wobly.

I really like this sliding keyboard tray. For the desk in my office, I’m using a repurposed kitchen table. It just so happens that it’s a kitchen table. My parents had when we were growing up and gave it to me when I first moved out, and I’ve kept it all these years. It makes a great desk because it is huge, but the drawbacks are it doesn’t have the modern amenities of a desk like a keyboard tray, filing cabinet drawers, blah blah blah. I was using a different keyboard tray, and it wasn’t working out so well, but I liked the concept, so I thought I would give this one a try. I’m very glad I did. The design of this tray has a lot of adjustment for width, which was helpful in my case because I had to mount it under the table and work around some hardware. Messing around with the screw configurations I found a size that was just perfect. The directions aren’t the greatest, but it’s not hard to figure out how to put it together. It attaches to the bottom of the desk with four screws. They even include an extra screw in case you lose one; maybe it was an accident, but I liked that there was an extra. The drawer slides in and out extremely smooth, much, much better than my last one. There are these little thumb screw lock things that will engage with holes in the sliding parts so that it either stays out or stays in, but I don’t see the need to use that because, like modern drawer sliders, it has a hard stop when it’s pulled out and it stays there. It also has a hard stop when you push it in, so you kinda don’t need the locks, but it’s nice that they have them. Looking around at other sliding keyboard trays, I’d say this one is priced appropriately. It’s nice and thin; it tucks right under the desk. I haven’t banged my legs on it, so it’s really nice to use. When I was putting it together I thought that the metal was kind of thin, but the way it bolts together with all the screws that they give you it seems like it’s pretty durable and solid. All in all, I really like the sliding keyboard tray much better than my old one. It slides really smooth; it stays where you put it and it’s just really nice to use.
