The holes did not line up well. I busted the block of wood I was trying to use to prevent banging directly on the metal to force the pipes together. Got one bolt through with forced alignment. Second bolt would not go through without tapping the bolt which crushed the threads a little. I will need to replace this bolt a tried to "help" through the holes. Support was responsive in attempting to help and offered to help with this replacement but the manufacturing process leaves a little to be desired.I haven't tried to test use yet.

Haven't used it yet however seems well built. Saved money buying the head then locally obtaining a piece of schedule 40 1" tubing which fit perfectly for the handle. I'm actually looking forward to using it.

This pallet buster is awesome. Completely worth it. You will be able to break pallets down much quicker and with less effort. Buy it!!!

I had a chunk of 1" pipe laying around so the option to not pay for a handle fit my bill. Super solid, love the pivot heads, they don't save all the cross bars but enough to make it a viable choice. The nail puller has been super handy. Mostly I like that it is simple enough my son, with autism, wanted to use it and figured out the nail puller all on his own. The fact that he can do it all without bending over is a HUGE deal to him. Anyway, if you take pallets apart at all this is a HUGE MUST HAVE

The socket was slightly out of round, but nothing that a bit of repeated force and a properly sized pipe couldn't fix. This breaker works perfect with 1" Steel or Black pipe, local from HD/Lowes/Store. It'll cost you in 2024 at least 25$ for that length, so take it as you will.I did use a thinner pipe that worked on some pallets, but eventually bent due to very stiff/swollen boards and nails. I swapped to the thicker and may end up dropping a piece of 3/4" inside to move the bend radius upwards somewhat.Works as described- the pivoting pieces keep the force in plane, and the boards (once freed) come up quickly.Would (and will) recommend for anyone breaking down any number of pallets. I went from saws and blades to 'this is pretty easy'. Going to test Kids against Lever Arms later and see who wins.

This a very well built, single purpose tool.It can dismantle a pallet in about 10 minutes.I bought the version with a handle because I did a little homework and saw that buying a section of sturdy pipe from the local home improvement store was going to cost more and not necessarily be any better. It works well on most all “standard” pallets and can work on other types, but you have to pop off a beginning board first to get the tool under the second board.I feel very confident that it should last a long time and pay for itself with time and effort saved. If you’re needing to break apart any number of pallets with any repetition, I recommend this.

I was so excited to get this and break down some high quality pallets for a project. I got to my 2nd pallets and the tube was so bent that it wouldn't get the right leverage to pry up. The fork was already on the ground so I couldn't even pull nails out with it because I couldn't get under the nail head anymore. If you get this make sure you reinforce that tube iron where the forks are. Not sure how ill get this apart to return it. Might need to dull some blades and just chop it

I bought this so I could break apart pallets for woodworking. I have broken down one pallet with a claw hammer before and it was not fun, so this seemed like a good choice.Bad out of the way: The tolerances for the handle segments sliding together were way too tight. The interior weld on the tubes that slide over the center section were too high for the handle to slide together, and the paint was scraping off the inner tube when trying to slide them together. I used a cheap flat file to knock off some of the paint on the interior segment, and a half-round file to knock back the weld inside the outer segment. I'd recommend the same. All that said, I don't plan on taking it apart now that it's together, and the fully assembled tool feels like one solid piece. Works very well, I was able to completely break down two pallets in under 30mins. Wood only broke during if it was a rotted piece or it already had a crack, not the fault of the tool. I didn't really use the nail puller that much but that could have just been the pallets I had didn't need it.
