The JJC JF-U2 Wireless Trigger Kit provides one transmitter and two receivers for a wireless solution to trigger off-camera flash units, studio lights or a camera’s shutter at distances up to 100’ (30m). This allows you to work with more freedom as the JJC JF-U2 does not require line-of-sight alignment.
The devices operate on the 433MHz frequency and have 16 channels to ensure there is no interference from other units. It also provides the convenience of a wireless camera shutter release, ideal for photographing wildlife, and also for macro photos.

one of the two receivers only worked intermittently. After only a few days both receivers had used over 20 percent of the battery power. I wanted to use them for camera traps so battery life is important. I have several Godox ct 16s which I purchased on Amazon, the batteries in these receivers last over 2 months. The only drawback of the Godox is that they only fire flashes and not the camera which is why I tried these.

This is set #3 Because set #2 failed last month out of warranty. These units do work quite well with my Nikon System with SB-800 Flashes. The transmitter failed. I have tried through Amazon and the vendor with NO support. JJC does have a great list of equipment

There were a couple of hurdles for me to get set up, nothing serious but not exactly obvious. First off the batteries in the receivers are wrapped in clear plastic so it's hard to see if there's a something interfering with connection. The dip switches are not set to match each other therefore did not work initially but once I set them everything was fine. And my first complaint - there's no way to turn off the transmitter and with the tiny little battery in there that I'm sure is going to be difficult to find and fairly expensive I'm not exactly thrilled but I seem to have it figured out for now.

The product doesn’t sync on the first or second photo. It will sync on the third photo taken. It’s been passed 30 days so I guess I have to keep it since there are no returns after 30 days. I don’t recommend this product.
