JJC RN-G7XM2 is specially designed for Canon PowerShot G5 X, G7 X, G7X Mark II, G7X Mark III cameras, which consists of a filter adapter, a Ф49mm lens cap, a lens cap keeper, and a spare 3M adhesive sticker. Made of premium aluminium alloy, the filter adapter is sturdy and durable. It allows you to put on an extra Ф49mm filter to realize creative shooting. Besides that, it adopts 3M adhesive and is removable . The Ф49mm ABS lens cap can effectively protect your lens against scratches, moisture, dust and fingerprints. Featuring snap-on design, the lens cap is easy to use. The lens cap comes with a lens cap keeper for protecting your lens cap from getting lost. Moreover, a spare 3M adhesive sticker is included in the package.

How to Use
Peel off the sticker on the filter adapter
Align the filter adapter(3M adhesive side) to the front of the lens
Then attach the filter adapter to the front of your lens

I love this adapter! It’s a good price to pay to protect the lens cover blades. Adhesive provided is teenie tiny, so definitely take care if you need to replace it.

This is permanent no way to take it off I tried and my entire lens came off. Horrible and regret this. Down $700 camera

Just what I needed for my Canon G7X Mark II. I never liked the way compact cameras like these use sliding vent-style lens covers to protect camera lenses - they're ok, but dust still gets behind them. Plus, it seems the way I pick the camera up or hold it, I'm always pressing my hand on the vents, which is not good. With the JJC, I don't have to worry about that anymore.The adaptor, (which is made of metal, not cheap plastic), installs very easily, and as long as you don't press it on too hard initially, you can make minor adjustments before finally pressing it into place. Because it sticks on via soft, but secure, 3M tape, I would suggest setting the camera face-down overnight after you install it, to allow the adapter to seal more adequately, via the weight of the camera.The 49mm adapter supports any 49mm lens filter, and then the lens cap on top of that.The kit comes with an adapter removal tool, and an extra circle of 3M tape in case you want to take the adapter off and put it back on again later.JJC makes great products. I've purchases a bunch of their lens hoods for my Canon RF lenses, and they're all great.Anyway, I highly recommend this lens cover kit, now I don't have to worry about getting dust in my Mark II's lens.

If your Canon G7X gets even the slightest dent on the iris lens shutter, it will not open, making your camera useless. You can fix that by using a plastic pry tool to carefully lift the dent, but that will not prevent that thin metal from a subsequent dent. This filter adapter will do the trick, and installation is incredibly easy.

canon g7xに！とりあえずフィルターが使えればと思いつつ。円形両面テープの耐久性がいつまで持つのか？装着分の厚みが増すのでケースに収まらない事も。

フィルターのレンズへの固定がいまいち弱い。両面テープの固定が弱いため、取り出した時いつもずれている。もっと確実な固定方法が必要！

This product works as advertised. Be aware that if you use a flash there will be a shadow - this product does block the flash a bit.

Worked perfectly tho installing the mounting ring seemed at first not to center on the lens. This is due to a bit extra sizing of the mounting ring but it works just fine. You can add a ND filter and protect your lens and shutter as well as using other filters.

Easy to install, and it was very solid. I was able to install a UV filter and lens hood with no problems. The price was also very reasonable.

カメラのレンズ枠に両面テープで接着するだけでは強度に不安もあった。レンズ枠を脱脂して接着したところ相当な強度で接着できた。クローズアップレンズは同径の49mmを装着した。PLフィルターは67mmを所有していたので49-67mmのステップアップリングを介して使ってみた。これが思いのほか使いやすく、広角側でのケラレも皆無で◎。残念なのは付属のレンズキャップが厚すぎること。キャップをつけるとカメラケースが閉じなくなる。もともと保護シャッターは内蔵されているので、撮影時にしかフィルターを装着しない私には不必要だ。しかし費用対効果を考えれば妥当な製品だと思う
