I liked that the speaker repair kit came complete including a tutorial.The issue is that the foam surround was not even close to what it should have been.Really frustrated me so I had to order it again from a jl audio directly and problem solved. Sweet

Fit perfect glue works great. The glue will Start setting up quick so you need to have everything ready to go.

Was a massive pain in the ass to remove all the old glue from the woofer, but once it was clean the new surround went in without a hitch. Overall a simple process, just a bit tedious. Worth every penny though! Effectively saved a $300 JL audio woofer for about $15 and I might be hearing things but I swear it sounds slightly better than the other woofer that still has its original surround.Funny enough, all 4 audio repair shops I called to have this done at, immediately started laughing before turning me away. Glad I did it myself.Great product, totally recommend.

This item worked perfectly. After removing the old, crumbling foam (it's important to remove ALL of the old glue and foam) from both the cone and outer metal edge, you simply glue on the new foam and let it dry. The glue bonds quickly and is very strong. I since installed the subwoofer and it POUNDS like it did 10 years ago. For $30, you can't beat it. I'd buy again instantly.

Easy to install on the JL's. The product fit and functioned great.The only thing is the old foam is not as easy to remove as their video shows. Getting the speaker clean was the hardest part. But do not be afraid to tackle this job.
