The JET Baritone Saxophone mouthpiece has a clean, focused sound with strong projection, cut and “bark” and yet can be played with a warm versatile feel. I just received it and it doesn’t come with a ligature. No where in the description does it specify. So here I am with a $300 mouthpiece and no way to use it. Great. Now I have to figure out what ligature will work with it and spend more money. I’ll consider changing my review when I can finally use the thing.Update - bought a Vandoren ligature which was too big so I decided to buy the $125 JodyJazz power ring which is made for this mouthpiece. And I found the overall tone to be way too bright and harsh. The mouthpiece that came with my baritone has a much better tone throughout the whole range and is much easier to play. I was surprised how restrictive the Jet mouthpiece felt for me. It sounded like a duck being stepped on. So I am returning both the mouthpiece and the ligature. What a waste of time.

While this is a great mouthpiece, I did return it. This is because it is brighter sounding than the sound I want to produce. If you want a very bright, efficient, and responsive mouthpiece, this is perfect. The piece itself is extremely well made. The hand finishing results in even rails and a flat table. The mouthpiece is reed friendly and very responsive. It plays from top to bottom really well and as advertised, the altissimo register speaks really easily.
