These are basic and fairly thin and simple gloves. I wouldn't want to crash in them, but they would be 1000 times better than crashing with bare hands. The palms and inside fingers are nice soft leather, but a little on the thin side. There's some TPU padding for the knuckles, and the rest of the back is just fabric. They are breathable for warm weather. I usually wear heavier gloves that offer more protection, but these are a great option for low-risk riding and for weather too hot for normal gloves. The leather is soft, a bit thin, and slippery when new. These aren't premium and they aren't super tough, but they are a good value. There is some very tiny padding on the palm, which helps a tiny bit for hand numbness.Sizing runs a little small. I can wear 2XL in other Joe Rocket gloves and XL or 2XL in most other brands. I bought 3XL for these based on earlier comments and it's about right - tiny bit loose, but I doubt 2XL would fit at all.

Never like gloves with a really hard knuckle, feels a bit uncomfortable over long wears. Joe Rockets are awesome, I fell for the eclipse the first time I wore them, went out and bought another 5 pairs. Now I'm looking for the sixth pair. Quite comfortable, snug once you get the right size. However, not good for really cold days, wish they could improve on the finger material.

First impression on removing them from the package was that they are very light weight. I wasn't even sure if it was real leather. My hands have weirdly long fingers, and I get XL even though the palm measures for M-L. So, I soaked these, and dried them to shrink them a bit. The leather shrunk nicely, and they are a little thicker now. Also some of the brown dye came out of the leather during the soak. They fit really well now.Interestingly, the fingers without the extra pad work great on all of my touch screens, and even the track pad on my laptop. The index finger has an extra leather pad that is supposedly for touch screens, and it doesn't work well at all. They would have been better leaving it off. Still the glove works with touch screens if you don't bother with the index finger. I can deal. To be honest for this price I would buy them again. As long as it works on my screens I'm good.I have seen a few reviews from riders that had these in accidents, and while the gloves were shredded the hands came out okay. That's good enough for me.I will certainly follow up on this review after I've ridden a season with these gloves.Edit 8/29/22:I really like these gloves. Over the last year they have broken in nicely, and the leather feels more confidence inspiring.

Sucha great 20$ joe rocket glove.. going on 2 years of use with about 5,000miles of riding.. they fit great breathe welll and are comfortable.. slightly padded palm helps with comfort on longer rides .. leather is pretty gooood.. good in hot weather but the coldest ive used them in was for 35degrees for about 20mins and my fingers would just be starting to get numb haha.. the knuckle protection is decent could be better if it was actual real hard knuckle but the thick rubber still helps.. FOR 20$ this is your best glove.. would buy again

Very comfortable, went on a 2,000km trip, got soaked too, no issues. Fit is accurate.

I have been wearing them for a few rides and found quite comfortable. The size I ordered was perfect for me. I will need to use for a full season in order to determine there durability but my present assessment is that they look to be made well and usually Joe Rocket makes a very good product. Should there be issues, I will update this review.

**UPDATE**I dropped a star because the new pair of gloves are not quiet the same as the first pair I ordered.I cannot get the gloves to work on my smartphone which worked fine with the same old pair. Maybe they changed manufacturers or something but they even dyed my hand black like other reviewers have posted. The first pair I ordered did not do this.Since it no longer works for touchscreen I consider this to be average at this price compared to similar gloves in this price range.I will not be ordering this again since it does not work for touchscreens anymore.****4/5I ordered this a second time after using the first pair for over a year.At this price, these are great gloves. They have minimal protection but in return you get a lot of air flow.I actually had an accident on the highway wearing these and they held up alright which was unexpected. But that may be because I was able to slow down a lot before the guy ran into me. I was only left with tear on the glove where my left hand made first contact with the ground. The padding on these feel good at first but they will become flat within 2 months of use if you ride nearly everyday like I do (California). I have provided pictures of both the old pair and the new pair of gloves for comparison.Would recommend if you are looking for cheap motorcycle gloves with great air flow.

Quality seems to be good, design is also different. But the rubber portion looks quite fragile, one thing because of which had bought these gloves was that these were from US. Unfortunately these too are made in China . Hope so that these are much more durable than scoyco glove's

These appear to be high-quality, well-built gloves. I've owned for 2 months now with a lot of use and they are comfortable- even on very long trips. I recommend.Update: After a season of wearing them, they have held up very nicely with almost no signs of wear. These are really nice gloves. Note that the size seems to run small- I have smallish/average sized hands, but XXL fit perfectly.

Great summer gloves. They allow great air flow and grip. The soft armor i like as it allows the gloves to go into my jacket easier. I punched a wall and I could feel it more than the kevlar knuckles but wasnt bad either. If you are always above 80 mph you might want the extra protection of the hard shields. The smart finger is a little jumpy but to select map points works fine, would not want to swype with it for long periods of time.Probably not great for cold weather riding.

I have used Zeus biking gloves which got torn out within a year after regular use of 5 day a week commute to office which is 15 kms from my house. Also Inhad used Alpinestars but they also got worn out in a year. These are one of the best biking gloves available in India. I have been using them for past 1 year. One recommendation would be that take a size bigger than your usual size. The gloves very easy to wear and comfortable and also the ergonomics are too good.
