I used this grease to replace the worn out stuff in my DeWalt angle grinder. It appears to be doing its job but time will tell.

This stuff is a grease/oil hybrid that should work in most gear boxs for machinery. It is runny enough to coat gears, but thick enough to not leak through worn shaft seals.Similar to Motor Honey, but not intended for engines.

The bush hog froze up and I couldn't get to gear box so thought we'd have to scrap it. The corn head grease allowed free movement and the equipment works fine. We're very happy.

I used corn head grease to replace the gear oil that was in the steering box of a used tractor I recently bought, a 1968 Ford 3000. The previous owner hadn't kept the gear box well oiled or greased, and the steering (manual, not power) was hard to turn. We jacked up the front of the tractor, filled the steering box with this "super slick" grease, moved the front wheels back and forth (left and right) a number of times ... and the steering began working perfectly. It's not quite like power steering, but for a tractor that weighs nearly 5,000 miles with weighted rear tires, the steering now is great. I think this kind of grease is superior to gear oil on an old tractor where the seals and rubber cups in the steering gear likely leak.
