This is the grease for a John Deere S series Mower and most riding tractors by John Deere. Do NOT go cheap on grease This is the grease in your points now, if you use a different grease it could turn out really bad. You need to use the same type of grease so I prefer use the exact same stuff. If you have a John Deere and you need to grease the points. Buy this stuff and grease a couple times a year and a little more if you are working in really wet conditions. It only takes a couple pumps of grease on a point, My lawn tractor has 7 points so this pack will last me a really long time.

When I inserted the Tube of Grease in Grease Gun and Push The Pole Forward, the end of the Ole Goes Up the Middle of the Canister of the Grease Gun. Leaves a Tunnel in the Middle of the Grease Cylinder. Never Seen this Before. Didn't Push all The Grease Up The Tube. Had to take the To[ off the Grease Gun and Manually Packed in Cylinder of Grease to Prime Grease Gun. What a Mess!!!

I received the John Deere Multi-Purpose HD Lithium Complex Grease (Set of 2) part number TY24416 and it seems to be authentic.The grease has a good consistency and is working as expected in my JD ride lawn mower. I had no issues to install it in my grease gun.
