I’m really disappointed with the quality of the John Deere Original Equipment Wheel - GX10168. I installed these wheels on my lawn mower, and after only a short time, they broke where the wheel meets the shaft. The break happened way too easily, especially considering that these are supposed to be original equipment for a trusted brand like John Deere.I expected these wheels to last much longer, but unfortunately, they couldn’t handle normal use on my property. It’s frustrating to have to replace something so soon after installation. Sadly, it seems "nothing breaks like a Deere" in this case. I’d recommend looking for more durable alternatives if you’re expecting a longer lifespan from replacement wheels.

*I replace these wheels every two years as they are a wear-n-tear item. They keep my cutting deck even for a nice, level lawn cut. They are very easy to remove & replace, taking only about 10 minutes of total time for the job from start to finish. I recommend regularly replacing these wheels as part of the regular maintenance of the Lawn Tractor the same as changing the oil/air filter/fuel filter.
