A little clunky in design. Does the job decently, though.

I purchased two of these units Jan 2025 with the intention of using them as sheet music holders, placing them back-to-back at home. Overall, the products are well-built and meet our needs, though there were a few points worth mentioning.Pros:The construction is sturdy, and the units feel solid once assembled. They serve their purpose as sheet music holders perfectly. The finished product looks good, and once assembled, they perform well in the intended use.Cons:If you use a knife to slice the tape there is a good chance you will cut the instructions paper which is on the top of the interior of the box.The finished pockets will not hold an 8.5x11" vertical papers without wanting to fall out of the pocket. The design includes a feature where the lower shelves don't touch at the bottom if you place them in the middle of the room. With molding at the bottom both bottom and top boards would touch the wall.. I had asked the question and they replies did not consider back to back in a room. I was considering attaching them together at the top and bottom but that is not reasonable with this design. The upper shelfs won't fit snugly together back to back because there's a brace that prevents a tight fit. This isn't a dealbreaker for us, but it might be an issue for some users. There's also an issue with the legs. The instructions mistakenly show the bottom feet as "Dx4," but they are actually "Ex4" (the "Dx4" parts are for the last-step brace). This small detail threw me off during assembly.Assembly Tip:When attaching the metal legs, be mindful of the screw holes. The screws go through the hollow metal legs to the boards, and the outer hole is designed to be covered by the head of the screw. If you over-tighten the screws it will go through the hole. You could end up with a hole exposed on the outer side of the leg. While it doesn't affect the functionality, it's not aesthetically ideal (I accidentally made this mistake).Althought the package came with the needed tools, I finally dug out my small hand held drill that had the various bits needed. It made them assembly go more easily and faster. Conclusion: Despite the minor assembly issues, we’re happy with the units. They do their job well, and the quality is solid. If you're willing to take your time with assembly and read the instructions through every step, this is a great product.

I had been looking for a magazine rack for the guest bathroom and bought this one. Took a few minutes to assemble but it works just fine and is the perfect size.
