Really well thought out and designed, but not quite as quiet as I hoped. No regrets though, and my house is relatively creaky, so maybe it's the most quite I could hope for.

placed this on a beam in the garage and hung a 6 foot 130lb Outslayer MMA bag, the fit was perfect, the internal spring and the swivel takes a lot of the jarring off the beam, Highly recommend this company and the item.

Purchased a few years ago and only recently got into really using the hanger + heavy bag. Ended up breaking a key piece of the hanger. Reached out to Firstlaw and they promptly sent me a replacement unit. Great to see them standing behind their product with warranty support. Regarding performance, the hanger works great and really allows me to box without disturbing the rest of the household. Highly recommended

I just moved into a new home a few weeks ago and was very irritated to find that my heavy bag stand was about 2" too tall to fit in the basement... I looked all over for a solution but I already had the shortest stand I could find. Thankfully, I ended up finding this joist mount - at first I was a little skeptical because my bag is 200 lb and I had a different bag stand in the past where one of the metal support legs simply snapped after prolonged use because of the force & weight, and it didn't seem upon first look that this would be able to handle that kind of abuse.WOW was I wrong! Once I got the bag up and started wailing on it, I could see exactly why it worked - the shock absorption at the connecting joint is just incredible... Not only does it rotate as needed to take pressure off (which is helpful if you don't have a swivel chain), but there's a socket (which must have some kind of spring loaded resistance?) at the joint that allows the entire thing to bounce up and down to absorb the impact. This thing is absolutely brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone who has a heavy bag they want to put up - it's so much better than a stand (even if you stand fits) because you can work your way around the bag without a bulky metal contraption getting in the way. The installation was also really easy - as long as you have a drill and the required pieces it'll take you maybe 10 mins.I'll update my review if the product doesn't end up being durable/lasting very long, but for now this thing is perfect - 5 stars, easily.

This joist mount really works great. I had to screw a cut board to make my cross beam flush but it seems to be extremely sturdy for my 150lbs 6ft bag. Still need to get the right chain length since the bottom of the bag needs to be 6-8 inches from the floor but for now it will do. Highly recommend this mount it’s well worth the money.

Just finished installing on a block between two joists. Really happy with how the bag can still swivel, and the shock absorption seems spot on, combined with an extra spring for suspension. Gonna train on it for a while and will update in the future, but so far happy with it.

Screws are not of the highest quality, but the mount is great.
