Your cart is empty.Mechanical type lamp extractor used to remove or insert miniature lamps with bayonnet type bases in panels and switchboards by firmly and gently grasping the lamps. Grasp lever includes a return spring for fast lamp insertion and removal. Lamp Extractor grasp is limited to 5/16 inches to prevent shorts. Handle diameter 1/2 inch. 4 inches long.

Good for removing older GE 24X lamps.This will not necessarily work on every bulb.

I replaced hundreds of miniature bayonet base incandescent and LED pilot lamps per year. Most are readily accessible, but there are the few with deep sockets. A piece of poly tubing normally works for them. I purchased this item for the tough ones. As quoted in the product description, "Used to remove or insert miniature lamps with bayonnet type bases in panels and switchboards ...". This item while having a reasonable design DOES NOT fit miniature base pilot lamps utilized in any industrial control and feedback devices I have yet to encounter. At the asking price for this tool it is a real system shock.
