As a wine enthusiast, I appreciate what this was made for and the fact that it is a hand blown item. Its distinguishable features are the deep inverted center interior. This is to allow bold red wines to breathe. It does have a short neck on it, but it’s supposed to. The quality far surpasses anything you’re going to find in the general area of decanters. This decanter is wine type specific. Please bear that in mind when ordering. I’m looking forward to using this and I highly recommend this beautiful wine decanter.

I got this as a birthday gift for my aunt who enjoys hosting dinner parties & it was a huge hit. This wine decanter has a sleek elegant design. Sure there are less expensive options out there, but you get what you pay for & this is beautifully crafted crystal.

I do not like this decanter due to the neck being so short. Every time I use it I am afraid that it will slip out of my hand unless I support the bottom of the decanter with my other hand. Bad design!!!

This is a beautifully made decanter. I love the design of how the center is raised and the tip sticks out a bit from the wine in the bottle. Has almost a diamond look. The decanter itself is pretty thick glass and feels sturdy. It's not super thin glass. I was excited to get this design by Kurt Josef Zalto. I really love the simplicity and yet uniqueness of this handmade decanter. They do recommend the use of young wines, less than 10 years.
