My daughter does indoor rock climbing and has requested this as a gift several times. She loves the cinnamon smell, and the texture is just right for her.

I won a bag of this chalk in a crate-stacking contest at my gym and I haven't looked back. It smells great and I love the idea of essential oils to soothe the skin. The only thing I would change is to offer a fine-powder version. Not a fan of chunky chalk, but until I find a good smelling chalk that's naturally inclined, I'm sticking with this one. Buttermilks Climbing POWDER DAY chalk with healing herbal powders was my previous go to -- loved it -- but it's impossible to find now. Maybe they stopped making it. The owner was a dude at my gym and I haven't seen him in a long time and just ran out of my stockpile :(

So im a bit of a chalk snob. I like to mix my own and like my chalk FINE. This comes a little chunky but I grind my chalk down anyway so not a problem to me. It’s about as chunky as the gorilla grip from friction labs (the blue bag)I will say this stuff is POTENT. I tend to mix my chalks, a bit of this, some mammut chalk, and some unicorn dust. I’d definitely recommend not dumping this whole thing in your bag and heading out. Sprinkle it into some other chalk and have a great day thinking about pie every time you chalk up

I think this chalk smells great. It also works exactly as expected. I originally used powdered chalks or chalk bags but now this is all I use. Doesn't tend to dry my hands out excessively like other chalks do and did I mention it smells AWESOME!!

Left a rash on my hands. I'm going to stick with Friction Labs.

This is my primary climbing chalk. I really could care less about the scent even though it does smell nice. What I really like about the chalk is how it provides more friction than some of the Metolius brand climbing chalks. I also find that when broken, it turns into a relatively fine powder. The reasoning for four stars is that it is not better than Black Diamond's White Gold climbing chalk. While both are around the same price range, the White Gold chalk provides much more friction and if it matters, has no scent. My main reason for using Joshua Tree Fire above the White Gold is that my gym doesn't sell White Gold.
