Keep clothes in shape. Plus, they’re pretty. Good for knits, blouses, sweaters, light jackets. Won’t stretch clothes out of shape.

I've been getting rid of the old plastic hangers that I've had forever in exchange for more durable hangers that won't snap apart with weight or when they get caught on other hangers. I love metal hangers, and these are my favorites to date that I've tried!These hangers are reasonably sturdy, and the coating helps keep fabrics from slipping off of them. The rounded shoulders haven't made marks in my clothing, and I love that I can also hang camisoles from the notches at the sides. These hangers are great for holding an outfit, as well as single clothing items.The lower bar of the hangers will flex some with enough weight, but overall these hangers seem pretty strong. I wish the tips were just a little more downturned to avoid bumps on the sleeves too, but that’s rarely and issue like the shoulders. The overall shape is good for making my clothes last longer and not look weird wearing them with weird shoulder bumps. They also aren't as thin as I expected. The main curved part is wider rather than wiry. It means they take up a little more space, but this also helps avoid stretching out clothes, especially if they are heavy with water when I hang them up to air dry.• Non-slip texture - The rubber coating prevents clothes from slipping off and it helps distribute the weight better so you are less likely to end up with stretch marks if you use them to line dry heavy shirts. It's not quite as non-slip as velvet coated hangers but it's enough and I prefer the feel, like that I can more easily pull clothes off when needed, and that it won't fray clothes as much as something with a rougher texture would. It might help if they had small ridges or something, but they're good as is.• Water resistant - These can get wet from clothes (and be cleaned) without color or material coming off on my clothes like with the flocked/velvet type. It makes it easier for me to hang wet clothes to air dry.• Strong - These are the heaviest and strongest feeling hangers I have ever come across. The hook is typical but the rest is thick rubber coated metal. It's part of what gives them a retro feel. I needed these since I've had so many plastic hangers break lately, so these are the perfect replacement that should last.• Short – As you can see in the picture, the hooks are shorter than standard which helps me make better use of space by leaving more room below the clothes.• Versatile - The bar at the bottom helps for hanging pants, and the hooks at each side help with hanging small items or anything with a loop.• Nice colors – I debated if the different colors would look too busy, but it’s been useful for sorting and color coding.Cons• Not as easily reversible - It looks and feels like the main hooks these hang from aren’t reversible. They can't turn around. Obviously you can just reverse the clothes on the hanger, but spinning the hook is faster and easier.

Okay, let's be honest, I'm a hanger enthusiast. I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous. But after years of battling those evil shoulder dents that turn my sweaters into sad, lumpy blobs, I'm serious about my hanger game. And these colorful metal hangers? They're the MVPs of my closet redesign.First of all, the pastel rainbow is a HUGE mood booster. Opening my closet now feels like a party, a well-organized, shoulder-dent-free party. I'm half expecting a tiny, hanger-themed disco ball to descend from the ceiling.The "arch-shaped, shoulder-like design" (fancy talk for "they're curved so your clothes actually fit on them") is a game-changer.
