This basket filler has a deep color and is thicker than most products available. I've also noticed that it doesn't have the static cling of some of the other basket fillers. Because the filler is thicker it can be a little stiff if you want to tuck it into a smaller basket.

Finally, no having to mess with plants, algae and fake plastic plants. It's perfect cover for baby fry to hide so as not to be eaten. Since using, my fry population has exploded! Yes it looks fake, but it's obviously fake and it's in my breeding tank. It is PERFECT! I would recommend and have recommended to my friends with aquariums. I am thinking of posting on YouTube it's so perfect for fry cover!
