I bought this shaper when I was looking to replace my stretch nylon one that was finally worn thin. Wasn’t thrilled with the material, as it wasn’t smooth or sleek like my former shaper slip, but couldn’t seem to find one like it, so I figured I would have to get used to something new. Well, been wearing it for a couple of months now, so I guess it finally grew on me. It fits snug, but is stretchy. It doesn’t feel tight or restrictive while wearing, but it does feel a little thicker in the material, because it’s not the smooth nylon. It smooths & hugs the body, with moderate shaping. It’s not ultra tight fitting, so it won’t make a size 12 body look like a size 8, but it’s comfortable, well made & does the job it purports to do. The reason for minus one star, because it wasn’t my preference of material, just me.

This dress is perfect to wear as a slip under another dress, or even on its own. It’s shaping with light compression and smooths everything out. Lots of stretch and not constricting.

This slip is incredibly comfortable and breathable. The wider shoulder straps provide better support and help it lay smoothly under clothing. It offers great tummy control while leaving enough room for the bust, creating a flattering shape. I was especially impressed that it stayed in place and didn’t ride up, even under a shorter dress. I’m very happy with this purchase and can’t wait to buy it in more colors. Highly recommend!

Update: Shaper washes well.This is easy to get on and off. It smoothes out my body in just the right way, so that my dresses flowed better on my body. Dresses no longer hugged every body ripple or under arm bulge. Shaper did not roll up as I sat down or bunch. I didn't feel like it was too tight. Liked that it makes me feel better that I do not have to wear a bra under it. Material this shaper is made of felt nice to wear.
