I'm back looking for another hose. I bought this hose as I wanted the best quality hose that I could find and based on the price, I thought this was it. NOPE. Cracked and leaked after 18 months of use. No sun exposure at all. The propane compartment on my RV is completely dark. How hard is it to make a good quality propane pigtail? Apparently it's impossible.

Picked mine up as an Amazon leftover... Open box for a few bucks. Work great, look great, and they have internal checkvalve which was leaking back in my old dried up hoses. Actually measure your old hoses before ordering replacements. I thought these were going to be longer than my old ones, but measured from end of both fittings were the same.

In less than a year, the hoses are cracked, and they're not subjected to direct sunlight. The original hoses are over 20 years old and still not cracked, but I wanted the easy connection and safety of the newer style hose so I purchased these. Looks like I'll have to try another brand as a replacement.

Better quality than the OEM hoses on my camper, which had developed small leaks around the fitting on the regulator end.

Hose assembly looks exactly like the picture. Perfect replacement for the original on my 2005 13ft. Scamp trailer. Nice & flexible now. I don't know how long it will stay that way, but my old one was RIGID. The 15" length describes the overall length, including end fittings. This one has male 1/4" NPT threads which match my regulator. I had a hard time finding this one on Amazon because all the short pig-tails seemed to have a reverse flare end which would have required an adapter in my case. (Just another place to possibly leak)
