The part looked nice along with the rope and handle. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to get things done and just installed it this weekend 8/31/24. I cranked my saw on the 5th pull, used it for a minute then turned it off. Went to use a 2nd time, and after the 2nd pull, the knot on the handle pulled through and went into the recoil. Frustrated with the quality of things made these days.

Worked great for the first time using it. Then sat for a few months before needing it again. After the 3rd pull the cord broke and after inspection the spring broke inside broke and wouldn’t retract the cord. Overall if you buy this make sure to buy an extra for when you actually need it a second go around.

The whole pulley system works but you can tell it's cheaply made. The first pull I gave it after I installed it the handle cam off so check the knots in the handle. Then while I was cutting wood the orange circle fell off. I wouldn't be surprised if a few months from now I will need to replace it again. But hey, 20 bucks is 20 bucks.
