Our JSP Brand Boat Propeller Stop Block for marine / boat propellers is simple to use. Securely holds your prop in place while removing or installing prop nuts ensuring a safe prop change out. Simply slip on to anti-ventilation or cavitation plate to wedge one prop blade against and to keep the propeller from turning. Please remember to remove the propeller stopper before using your boat.

Easy to Use Instructions:
- Turn off ignition or disconnect battery.
- Position propeller stop center with blade tip.
- Slide propeller stop onto the right side of cavitation or anti-ventilation plate.
- Remove Prop
- Reverse position of propeller stop to install and tighten prop nut
- After installation is complete, remove propeller stop
- Reconnect Battery

Bought this to put in my boat tool box. Takes up less weight and space than a 2x4. Actually had to use it on a trip when a bunch of fishing line got tangled around prop and shaft. Worked great. No busted knuckles trying to hold it in place and stayed put.

This worked exactly as it was supposed to on my Mercury 9.9 hp outboard. More convenient that trying to balance a wooden block.
