Most modern cars have a catalytic convertor. It sits between the engine and the muffler, and is intended to reduce exhaust emissions. Unfortunately, they can occasionally become clogged, which can make your car feel sluggish on acceleration and show up as a check engine light. When that happens, you have to replace the cat. This was a perfect fit and while it took some effort to install, it was much less expensive than the local shop had quoted me. I did have to buy a new O2 sensor (the old one was seized and I couldn't get it out) I probably needed to replace it anyway, at least that's what my local mechanic said. Overall very pleased that I found this on Amazon.

I bought this and had it installed on my 2013 Nissan Altima. Fit was fine and everything. But after just a little over a month the Catalytic Converter went bad and started making noises. I had a mechanic check and he said the Catalytic Converter was gone bad. The manufacturer’s number and website are not working and Amazon customer support was horrible. They didn’t do anything to help because it was past 30 days. They even hung up on me. DON’T BUY THIS ITEM OR FROM THIS MANUFACTURE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OUT OF MONEY.
