Installed on my 2004 Honda Shadow VLX600 to make it more highway friendly, and it did just that. Most of my riding is on Texas highways with 75mph speed limits, my bike struggled with the stock 44T sprocket. If I were to choose a new sprocket it would definitely be another one of these! Maybe a 41T for better stop and go and slower speed rides, but here where I am 38T is perfect

Like it, the product takes 3.5 weeks to be shipped/delivered from ITALY, on a basic shipping cost (Holidays Traffic), totally understandable.

Was tired of high rpms in 4th gear on a 44 tooth sprocket. After install, it's like a 5th gear. Love it!!

Had to argue with customer service to send back wrong color without being charged. Still got silver/natural. I live by the ocean and wanted extra rust protection. Wasn’t willing to leave the bike down another7-10 days. Won’t order from oemcycle ever again, I checked with manufacturer and they exist.2 stars for fit and quality but service failed.

I have an 04 Honda shadow vlx 600. Fits absolute perfect. Farely easy install. Every tooth dropped in the rear is about 100 to 150 rpms lower. If your trying to lower your rpms I'd drop down to a 40 or less. Stock is 44. Or raise the teeth on the front sprocket. Standard is 16 teeth. 17 is the biggest that will fit and will drop the rpm by 500. I believe most all Honda vlx 600 have the same sprockets front and rear.

It's gonna sound like the "typical sales pitch", but it's the truth! JT Sprockets are freakin' awesome! I love the quality to cost ratio. JT... PLZ don't ever become like the competitors & jack your prices b/c you get popular! You are the top company I recommend to all of my motorcycle clubs.(pictured is the front 17t sprocket, & a rear 43t sprocket)A word of advice to novice riders: BE VERY CAREFUL OF WHICH SPROCKET(s) YOU ORDER! There are SO many out there, it's easy to get them mixed up ~ & don't trust the pictures used to showcase them (they are usually generic for all sprockets). Look at the dimension picture (if there is one), & make sure you measure the sprocket presently on your bike.On a side note.... DO NOT USE "MX POWERPLAY" as your vendor. The first sprocket I ordered was from them, & FedEx lost it on the 2nd day out (big surprise). They have no fulfillment policy that I can tell, & for the last couple of years, I think FedEx is in the top-spot for package loss. No fulfillment + FedEx shipping = No happiness for you. (and if a rep from MX reads this & reaches out to make amends, it won't change my rating, b/c I already tried to work with you on this... & after the 2nd attempt to reach out to you, I was ignored).

Great high quality sprocket for a very reasonable price, I went from a 44 tooth sprocket down to a 41 tooth from JT sprockets on my Honda Shadow 600vlx and it makes the world of difference for highway driving, increases top speed and reduces engine rpm at higher speeds for less buzzing and less engine wear, does make starting off from a stop a little more difficult but after a few times you get used to it. I recommend this mod for anyone who takes the 600vlx 4 speed out above 60 mph on the regular. You will have to shorten your chain by one link to make this fit properly, I used a DID 525 X-ring chain for my set up.

had them put on at bike shop they liked them and commented to me of the Quality .Im a retired QC 1 inspector . when I put my hands on them and viewed them .the quality just stood out . this is my second shawdow . so I replaced a lot of chains and sprockets and they seem among the best. what I find different in these and don't no why but after install I was left with more adjustment space which in turn will allow me to take up more slack as the chain stretches so will get more miles of use on the chain. this will be my choice from now on
