The fuse block works, but when I loosened up one of the terminals it pushed in. Then I noticed the back wasn't on flush. I pulled the back off and found 2 of the stand offs for where the back plate screws on were broke off. I was able to get the terminal back in place and put longer screws in that holds the back on, but they had to come through the front. Oh and one of the other stand offs was stripped.

Update: just a few comments after installing and using the unit. First, you might think that you have leaking voltage if you put a multimeter between the positive and negative on an unfused terminal while connected to a power source. At the time of my original review, I tested for continuity with my multimeter, but didn't have power connected. You should not be concerned if you see voltage across the positive and negative terminals with a blown fuse. Why? To satisfy myself that the device was working, I removed the back cover but did not remove the circuit board. There must be a diode on the circuit board that drives the LEDs that light when a fuse is blown. Diodes allow the flow of current in only one direction and current is needed to light the LEDs. I put my multimeter in diode testing mode and verified that current can only flow in one direction when there is a blown fuse or no fuse. That direction is to the LED. No current flows to a device connected to the terminals as expected. One negative that resulted in me removing one star from my review is that the main positive terminal is a bit loosey-goosey due to not being attached very well. The whole positive terminal board inside the unit is actually flexing. This is easily resolved by putting a washer minimally on the outside to prevent the the bottom nut from moving through the plastic hole to the back of the unit. I added a washer on both sides both to secure and keep the internal bus bar from bending. I would have liked to see them either make this modification at the factory or simply make the plastic hole smaller. After making the modification my main positive terminal is extremely secure. I included a picture of the mod.Original: I haven't installed in my solar system yet, but tested with a multimeter and everything checks out. I like the knob for closing and opening the front panel because it doesn't rely purely on a clip system that is likely to break with repeated use. There are clips, but they seem sturdy enough as long as you don't force anything.
