This is perfect for keeping my mix of salt and pepper at the ready in my counter. I love the size and that it comes with a spoon.

In my observation, this wooden salt cellar is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, making it a great addition to any kitchen. Its elegant jujube wood design with a smooth reddish hue adds charm to the countertop, while the compact size ensures itโs always within easy reach for seasoning. The simplicity of its design allows for quick, one-handed access to salt or spices, which is especially helpful when cooking. What I Like:Elegant Design: The fine grain and natural reddish tone of the jujube wood make it a beautiful countertop accessory that complements my kitchen decor.Durable Quality: Crafted from high-grade jujube wood, it feels sturdy and resistant to moisture, promising long-lasting use in the kitchen.Convenient and Versatile: Itโs perfectly sized for countertop storage and holds a variety of seasonings, from salt to spices, keeping everything organized and within easy access. The smooth lid design allows for quick, one-handed operation, which is very convenient during busy meal preparations.Tight Fit: The lid adheres tightly to the body. There is a small "click" one can hear when "locking" the lid.Concerns:No Rubber Backing: It would be nice if it had a rubber backing to prevent sliding on smooth countertops.Gentle Handling Required: Once the container snaps shut which is nice, I have to be very careful when reopening it. If not handled gently, salt can scatter everywhere, making it a bit messy to use.Overall, this salt cellar combines beauty and practicality, though a few minor improvements could make it even better.

This is a beautiful little bowl, about the size of an orange, that I'm pleased to have on my dinner table. It's advertised as being suitable for salt, but I prefer to use it for other condiments -- grated parmesan, or bacon crumbles, for instance. (I would not leave those condiments in the bowl past dinner time; I wouldn't want the wood to absorb the odors of those things and don't know how resistant the surface might be. But when when you're serving something that diners use enough to want a spoon (not salt! who wants that much salt?), this bowl and spoon set is perfect. It matches the mood of my dishes and just belongs right there, on the table.

I love a lot about this little bowl. The wood is nicely finished with an attractive grain pattern, and the little spoon is adorable and functional. However, the lid and bowl are not both round. One is off, causing the lid to either sit crookedly or be forced down into the groove very tightly. Tighter than is practical for one handed removal of the lid. Like I said, I really like the bowl, so I'm hoping it relaxes over time and with (rather difficult) use.

I ordered 2 salt cellars (from 2 different sellers) and received both yesterday. In a side-by-side comparison this one really falls short in quality versus price. It's feather light and thin (thickness) and has a pretty shiny and unnatural finish. It also arrived missing the spoon. Compared to the other one I ordered which is 7.00 less, I would skip this one.

I really wanted to like this item as it's simple and unlikely to mess up. However after receiving the item, there's literally no way that the lid fits on the jar. The jar is circular and the lid is a little oval shape. The wood is nice. We will still use this but I was very disappointed in the quality issue.

This little salt cellar is super cute. It's really well made- smooth and without blemishes. The wood grain is warm and inviting. The lid on mine marries smoothly and comes off without a problem using one hand. However, it is loose enough, if you were to tip it over, the lid would pop off and spill the contents.
