Got this for granddaughter whose volleyball team use rope jumping for their warm-up routine. She says she "likes it" (which might well translate to she "loves it" in teen-age girl language).

I've had trouble with jump ropes breaking after about a month or so, but this one broke after 1 week of daily use. I thought since this wasn't the same kind of rope it'd actually last. I'd adjusted it to my height so when the rope came out of the handle, I couldn't get it back in the handle. The end of the rope was in threads and it just wouldn't fit back inside the little hole. It was within the return period so I was able to return it.

I had purchased a pvc rope but it was not heavy enough for me to make gains. I could do only about 3 jumps and it would then hit my head or feet. This one worked MUCH better!
