  • Upgraded smart chip: low energy consumption transmission, durable, sensitive sensing, stable output of tire pressure data.
  • Alarm system: when the car is moving, the tire pressure monitoring system starts automatically, six kinds of alarm system, always protect your personal safety.
  • Wireless transmitter: no wiring required, uninterrupted update of normal tire pressure data, immediately inform the monitor when the tire pressure is abnormal, four-wheel independent real-time monitoring, one screen with the same display.
  • Battery High Temperature Protection: The display battery is made of automobile-grade lithium iron phosphate material, which is not afraid of high temperature baking in the car.
  • High-definition color display: three-color display compartment, four tire pressure values at a glance, high-speed driving safer.

This tire pressure monitoring system uses high-end chip technology for lower consumption and accurate transmission of tire pressure data, and the battery has a high temperature protection function to make your driving safer.

Although the unit does work, it is really only readable at night (at which time the solar panel is rather useless). Even turning the brightness all the way up to the maximum value, the screen is rather washed out and can't easily be read. Also, because the display is only supported on one side, when you press the buttons (which are rather stiff to press), you flex the unit until it touches the base. I would not be surprised if this didn't break in the future. The "manual" is rather small and you will need a magnifying glass to be able to read it. Even at the highly discounted cost that I get because this is a a Vine review, it was a waste of money.

I've bought and reviewed 7 different TPMS systems from Amazon for all the older cars my kids and I have, and I've come to a pretty good understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. Almost all of them share numerous electronic components and the valve stem mounted pressure sensors are interchangeable. Mostly they differ in physical form and quality of construction. All of them that I've tested are quite accurate, although the sensors all come from the factory with cheapo batteries that last a few weeks to a couple of months. These are no different. If you buy any of the Amazon TPMS systems, plan to replace the batteries with some quality name brand ones before you put them into production.I installed this system in an older Toyota SUV after setting the pressure in all tires to factory spec using a known-good digital gauge. As predicted, the system registered the pressure in all 4 tires accurately following installation. Now, on to the problems: The display is only anchored to the case on the left side and the buttons on the top are hard to press so when you use enough force to depress the middle or far right buttons, the display is deflected downward until it hits the base. Over time, this is going to stress the case, the wiring to the display, and probably the buttons. The display can rotate several degrees to achieve an optimal viewing angle depending upon your height, and that's probably why they only anchored it on one side. Before you can install it, you have to charge it all the way up with the included USB-C cable, but, unlike every single other model I've tested, there is no battery charge indicator unless you actually turn the unit on, and that slows down the rate of charge. Once fully charged, the solar panel does do a good job of keeping it topped up if your car sits outside for at least a few hours a day (like while at work or the gym, whatever). The panel is not high quality and will likely only last a year or two sitting on a hot dashboard, and you'll be forced to wire it to the cigarette plug to keep it running, assuming the rest of the electronics survive. One thing in its favor is that it is much less expensive than many of the competing units on Amazon, so maybe it's worth it if it only lasts a couple of years.

My car has a TPMS, but it's essentially useless. I'm only informed when the pressure is so low that it's visually apparent that the tire is low. No numbers. Just a warning on the dash telling me that I'm way way under-pressure. So, I wanted to know what the actual pressures were, real time. Short version is that it works great and I'm pretty darn happy with it. I did have some concerns about the size, as their computer-generated images give the impression that it's large enough to be a distraction. In fact, it's pretty small. It's out in the car right now, so I can't give an exact number, but it has a much smaller footprint than I'd expected. If I remember, I'll try to measure it and update my review with actual measurements and a better picture. (Got the better picture by daylight, anyway). First pic was with the garage door closed so you can't really see the size well. It's sitting off in the corner and not remotely in the way. Seems I worried about nothing. It's right-sized.My one concern with this, long term, is that you're now relying on the cap to seal the tires. It's obvious, but screwing these on necessarily pushes the pin on the valve-stem. So, make certain your valve-stems are clean before you tighten them in place. So far, it seems to be holding pressure great though. No signs of any leakage. The display is not the brightest thing, but it was fine on a bright cloudy day. How visible it will be in full sun, I don't know. Edit: Visibility in full sun is fine (see pic).Note that mine arrived with the battery fully discharged. I had some issues at first, as it didn't seem to be charging. I really thought I'd gotten a bum item. But, the problem was the charging cable I used. Once I used the included cable, it charged just fine. My fancy cable may not been able to talk to it right or something. Heckifiknow. I park my car in the garage, so I don't know if it'll be outside enough to keep it charged. I'm hoping I can just set it and forget it, but time will tell. Worst case, I charge it periodically or just turn it off once in a while.Anywho. This solved a real issue for me and I've very happy with it. Recommended.
