Poor quality, badly designed hinges that come screwed each time you open the box, split and warped wood. Would not recommend especially for $90.

The wood is thin, most of the flat pieces of wood are cracked. I filled with wood glue but it doesn't feel super sturdy.There are no joints for the boxes to expand correctly. They use screws for this which doesn't make ANY sense at all. The screws grind away at the sides of the boxes and it got super loose. The screws don't hold after a few times of opening and closing.I tried to replace the screws with chicago screws but I can't find any to fit the width correctly. The joints are over a half inch wide but less than 3/4 inch so there's no good standard size to use.I took the entire box apart, had to sand it down because the sides were splintering. The insides of rhe box had gobs of glue in them that I tried to sand down Honestly I put a ton of work into this box to have to just throw it out.

Quality of the hinges and supports feels quite flimsy, but I just got it to use to tote my 'quick go' effects makeup/supplies for myself. Couldn't fit any pallets or anything but it was good enough to fit in the smalls, small containers, brushes, etc

This item is so amazing, I love the wood finish and how many of my sewing items that it holds , even my extra-large scissors, this is most definitely a great buy!

First thing.... as I was removing the sewing box from the shipping box the handle came off. The screws were not long enough to secure the handle. As I was taking it apart to put the finish on I discovered one corner on the base was not glued together. It IS solid wood so that is as described in the post. As I was sanding it there were no areas splintering or coming apart. The wood has taken the Danish Oil well and looks very nice, good grain in the wood. Knowing what I know I might have purchased it anyway, and been prepared, BUT I would probably hesitated at the current p[rice and looked elsewhere. WAY OVERPRICED FOR THE QUALITY IN THE ASSEMBLY!
