this is a really cool attachment for skateboards. It is pretty much a spark plate. It is very easy to install, and stays on pretty good, even with the mounting tape. If you would like, you can mount it more permanently with the included screws, personally I stuck with the double-sided tape that comes preinstalled. Really cool product, great fit, very easy to use, works great, and very inexpensive. Highly recommended.

This pair of Jyan skateboard/longboard tail bones arrived in a plastic bag. The two plates featuring self-adhesive backing, were accompanied by mounting hardware in a separate bag.The Skateboard Spark Plate set adds a dazzling touch to your boarding experience. Each plate contains 5 stones that produce sparks when they contact the ground. Installation was easy via peel-and-stick adhesive tape and the included 6mm drill bit and screws. The sparks are a nice touch, but more importantly (in my book), they protect the deck and can be replaced when worn.All in all, I'm happy with the tail plates. Should my experience with them fail to spark in the future, the review will be updated.
