This kit is a couple of bucks cheaper than the OEM lens guard, and it also contain 2 tempered glass screen protectors, each of which is $15 at Insta360 store. The lens guard is slightly bigger in circumference compared to the OEM one. The problem being larger is that it slightly covers the microphone opening on one side. If you are afraid that this will interfere with the volume on that side, you can cut out or scrape out the part of the lens guard that blocks the microphone opening. It is just a tiny blockage and should be possible to cut it out or scraped it out. The OEM fits with a slightly less of a gap with the camera surface, so may block out very, very fine dust slightly better, but the difference may be negligible in most condition. Instead of buying the OEM tempered glass screen protector for $15, I would rather buy this kit, to get the free lens guards and an extra screen protector. But I would have to scrape out one of the part of the lens that blocks the microphone opening.

For the price, I would rather buy the Insta360 branded plastic lens guards which are only about $2 more. Granted, you do not get the screen protector, so with that maybe this does provide extra value. However, these are quite a bit more bulky than the Insta360 covers, covering the microphone on the screen side of the camera. The ad states these are tempered glass. I cannot tell if that's only referring to the screen protector or the screen and lens protector. The lens feel more plastic. That's not in itself bad, just know what you're getting. The clarity is fairly good. While very subtle, even when ensuring these were wiped down and clean I did notice some more flare or artifacts as compared to the Insta360 branded ones. Would I rather have these than nothing? Yes, they are worthwhile to protect your camera, I'm just not sure I'd pick these.

This item did not come completed. It was missing a few items from what the description said it would come with! It was missing the wrench tool, a set of wipes and the stickers and I was not able to place the lens cover on without the wrench tool or clean it without the wipes.

After applying I realize the extra bubble might be obstructive, and you don't really need it, but it fits. I can see why you'd want to protect the lens, but I'm concerned the bubble might cause some lighting or imaging issues, still testing it
