On the back side of the tie, you'll find a securely fastened K. Alexander brand tie label, that doubles as a keep for the tail of the tie. If desired, this will align the tail of the tie with the front of the tie, keeping it hidden from view. This necktie is a formal necktie and can be worn very formally, or dressed down. It is suitable for weddings, performances and even everyday use. The satin on these ties gives them a slight sheen and gives the colors some range in their appearance, which will vary depending on the amoutn and direction of the lighting. These ties are not super shiney, nor are they flat. They are a nice classy place in the middle.
This tie is not a costume tie, but could be used as part of a costume. Costume ties are typically unlined, made of very, very thin material, are hard to make knots with and designed to be worn only once.

Purchased for my wedding - such high quality and the price is truly unbeatable!! The silver is actually a tad darker and more chrome than pictured which is EXACTLY what I was looking for! So delighted with this find - have suited up my groom and all groomsmen for a fraction the price charged at a bridal boutique, without having to sacrifice quality. I was looking for a Flyers' Orange tie to accent my suit, but I didn't get one from the Wells Fargo Center because I just wanted a solid color. I went to at least 10 stores around my house in Philadelphia, and none of them had anything even close. I decided I would give Amazon a look over, and I was lucky enough to find this listing.First, I'll say that the tie is an exact match to the picture. You're going to get what you see; not a faded orange, not a light red.Secondly, the tie is actually a very nice tie. I'm used to wearing Trump ties when I have events for Graduate School or for weddings, family dinners, etc., and this tie is comparable to all of my "nice" ties. It doesn't bend or wrinkle unless you keep it folded improperly, and it can be easily shaken out if it develops a crimp. I was also pleased to find that it's slightly longer (maybe one inch) than a typical tie, so that may help someone with a larger neck (I wear a 19 personally).Anyone that's a sports fan like me will be pleased with this tie if their team of choice wears orange as their primary team color. Philadelphia Flyers, Syracuse Orange, Tennessee Volunteers, Clemson Tigers, Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, and Illinois Fighting Illini fans will be very pleased with this tie. The Tampa Bay Bucs cream-sickle throwback uniforms are much lighter than this, so that won't match very well.Overall, it's a great tie in a great color. If you're in need of an orange tie, give it a try. I was skeptical about buying a tie that I couldn't sample too, but taking the plunge is part of the thrill.

If you love bright colored ties, this orange tie is the one. I bought it for my husband and he looks great in it, especially in his suits. It will get you noticed and I was suprised the material was nicer than I expected. My husband thought it was just a tad too bright for him, it's a bit brighter than in the pictures. A great buy for the money.
