I used to ride the clickers back when they first came out in the mid 90s. These new versions have some improvements like a 3° canted base plate. A redesigned cleat interface both on the boot and the binding allowing for better snow clearance, and a little bit of play allowing the binding to feel more like strap binding. The worst engineered part of the binding is the high back. I feel that all of the high back support is very low and then the high back flares back so the top doesn’t even touch the boot. With all of the support from the high back being down low, I feel that it makes it more difficult to step into the binding. As you can see in the picture, the only part of the high back that touches the boot is down low, and I had to build up the top portion of the high back with dense foam to make up for the lack of support.

I love them when they work correctly with some adjustments. I have released while they were locked and almost lost the board after chasing 1/4 mile. Never wore a leash w straps now I do Make sure to adjust the back to allow enough room for easier entry

I love the way these bindings work but unfortunately K2 has a recall on them that takes them 2 weeks to fix. In the mean time you sit on your ass waiting for you bindings to come back while the snow falls and you miss those days on your seasons pass. For me, it is going to take 4 weeks because it takes one week each way to shop to K2 from the east coast and that is with out any mishaps is shipping which could delay longer and seems to be the norm.

I love not having to buckle in. They take some getting used to but once you break them in and get used to it they are really great! Glad I went with the Clickers!

I read another review after I made the purchase of the K2 Clicker bindings that this particular model was recalled. It is a 2020-2021 model. I checked with K2 to confirm. Sadly it is a danger hazard and if you don’t catch this review and buy/use these, you are at risk.K2 does handle the recall in a way you’d expect them to. However the process can be anywhere from 1 month to 4 months long.I just returned the bindings. Stinks that the seller is ok making a buck in this way. Happy riding !!

I just received my bindings today and they are the 2020 model, not the 2023 model that they have listed on Amazon. If the model number on the box starts with B200....it is the 2020 model. K2 will work with me on fixing the recall, but I am assuming it will be a lengthy process. These are heavily discounted for this reason, but they shouldn't lie about what model year they are selling.

My only gripe with these is quite often my right foot binding doesn’t latch. Have to stomp 10-20 times. I’ve adjusted the footbed/alignment countless times, no 100% fix. No response from K2. I saw one user filed a little off the clasp . I used the previous rev of these bindings for 20 years! That binding worked flawlessly.

I have ridden K2 clicker bindings since 1994. This is my 6th pair. The first I have had issues with but the issue is probably a design flaw as it has shown up on two pairs of bindings. The first pair I lost the release / locking knob on the right binding after 7 days of riding. The retailer involved took care of me and sent a new pair. The second pair developed the same issue after 5 days of riding except I caught it this time and maybe fixed it? I used pliers to press it back in anyway.First picture is the second pair you can see the pin backing out. There is nothing to retain it. That is why I think this is a design engineering flaw. The second photo is of the original pair with the lost knob because the pin backed out while I was riding. The third is the left binding and a normal knob.I have contacted K2 and heard nothing. If they can recommend a solution or give an explanation I will update my review.Love these bindings. But not this pin that backs out.Technically the bindings function although releasing them without that knob is really hard. But the second function the locking is a matter of safety so nothing snags the lever and releases you unexpectedly. Like a branch when riding in powder in a glade. It is also the check for if they are locked. If you can turn the knob it is locked. Otherwise it hits the frame and you need to get fully locked.
