This is a perfect safe to keep kids or unwanted guest away from tour guns.I didnt want to spend the money on a big, heavy, fireproof safe. So this was perfect and easliey mountable to the wall.I wouldnt recommend to put in the garage (just do to it not being completely sealed.) But it's just right for a walk in closet and will definitely keep the kids out.

This is more of a "rifle cabinet" than a safe. It has a safe style lock, but all sides are thin sheet metal. It has decent room, but not enough for 12-15 rifles, I like the shelf to hold ammo. It was easy to assemble, the only thing is programming the second code was tricky.

Finally got this set up. Took a little bit to get thrown together but went fairly easy! Definitely a lot of space here for plenty of my gear. I cannot wait to expand my collection further now that I have a secure location to store them.Build quality looks great with the steel. I put this in a bedroom closet to keep prying eyes away from it. Wasn't too heavy to move but be aware that its about 75 to 80lbs so if you can't move that on your own, ask a friend for some help!

Fully built the safe. Went to lock it. Doesn’t lock. Tried to call support. Phone answering service voicemail is full. Chat support doesn’t respond. Email doesn’t reply back. You are on your own. Directions are generic, no model number, feels like a temu transaction. There is one international phone number for china. They didn’t speak English. Stay away from this company.Update:: Finally got an email back. The email stated that all support is on holiday. Sorry for the delay. Will get back to you in a few weeks?

This is, however, an extremely affordable and easy to assemble lightweight gun cabinet. Now, with that said, there are inherent issues with cabinets as opposed to actual gun safes. As flat-packed cabinets go, however, this one looks more like a gun safe than any of the others I’ve tried or seen. It is a bit on the lighter side, though, weighing only about 80lbs assembled. But, as long as you secure it to a wall and/or floor (as you should with all cabinets), it will perform very well for basic sturdiness and security and won’t be able to be lifted and carried away being so lite. Thus, it is NOT a safe. There are children in the home, and securing any and all firearms is absolutely essential! This cabinet exceeds those expectations. But…because it’s not a safe, anyone determined to get in who can wield a large hammer and crowbar will take mere minutes to pop the seams. So…if basic child-proofing and protection is what you need with something lightweight and easy to move around that “looks” like a safe but is a fraction of the cost of a safe - then this is what you need. If more security for the firearms themselves, however, is required…a gun cabinet is NOT what you want to be shopping for to begin with. A real gun safe costs several times more than pretty much any cabinet. But be aware…a lot of cabinets are marketed as safes. If you have to put it together and/or it weighs anything less than a large human (275lbs)…it’s probably just a cabinet. I like this Kaer product simply for the low cost and ease of assembly. It did take two of us, but it was done within an hour. It does look quite impressive when finished. Protects my kids and that’s all I really needed for now. Makes moving a lot easier too if that ever comes into the equation in the future. Maybe, once we’re settled in a more permanent situation, a safe will be something I’d consider then. Until then…this works better and for far less money than any other cabinet I checked into.

When it comes to safety around guns, I don't play around. I have kids at home and my friends and my wife's friends have kids. They are always coming to my house. I have been looking for a good gun safe to be able to store all my hunting rifles and handguns safely and easily accessible. I found this safe online and had to give it a try. Assembly was relatively easy. The instructions are easy to follow. It took me about 10 minutes. Its nice and deep, looks and feels high quality. The pockets on the inner side of the door are convenient and well-placed for easy accessibility. My favorite feature so far is the silent mode; you activate it by pressing a code on the keypad and it operates silently in an emergency if you need to reach your hunting instruments. It comes with three racks that you can move around and adjust to your liking. Definitely a good buy. Will be purchasing another one for the vacation home in Florida.
