Decent thickness, cut well. Overall a great trem plate if you’re not trying to match it to other gold/brass hardware. It’s a much less saturated in cold and a more washed gold than what you find on most hardware. I don’t understand why I search and search but can’t find a gold trem plate that matches my other hardware, but not made from plastic.

Perfect for customizing your guitar. It really gives the guitar a nice look. Especially when matched with the Black matte Pick Guard. The anodized metal is a nice difference from plastic.

Fitment: You'll see a diagram in the product images that shows the necessary measurements. You'll want to verify that the holes in your body line up. In particular, note the offset between the left-center and right-center screws. I've bought a lot of plates, pickguards, etc. from Amazon sellers and I'd say approximately 99.99% of the bad reviews due to poorly fitting items are due to the buyer accidentally buying a version that's close, but not quite a match. Fender, Squier, and other manufacturers have a number of different screw layouts for this stuff depending on whether it's "modern", "vintage", etc.So anyway, with that out of the way. This is a matte black metal backplate The holes line up perfectly with the ones in this configuration made by Fender, which should be the ones in use on most of Fender's American or Mexican Stratocasters as well as most Squiers. But again -- if you're replacing an existing plate, measure the screw holes first! This isn't the first Kaish product I've ordered for use in my guitars. I've gotten some Telecaster knobs from them and even a bridge and saddles. I used to question their quality because it's a name I wasn't accustomed to, but I have yet to regret any of my purchases, so to me that says something.
