I got this for my teenage daughter to build but proved to be quite difficult to build. You really needed to be an octopus to be able to hold all the pieces in place as you connected some. Aside for that, its a really nice solid radio that even has an AUX connection that my daughter plugs her MP3 player into for a little boosted speaker. Sound quality is decent and radio works well. The antena only goes up and down you can't angle it. The casing once built us solid and sturdy and looks nice. Just take lots of deep breaths when building.

My wife knows I like things to build and electronic gadgets. She saw this in Amazon and bought one for my birthday. What fun to build and it works great. I keep it on while I’m in my hobby room and really enjoy it.

Needed to drill an extra hole and do some filing, otherwise a pretty good kit with no soldering. Takes about an hour to do properly
