This is a nice countertop cooktop. As you will read from my reviews, I've been converting an Ambulance to a camper and I got this cooktop for my build. It works great, was truly a sinch to mount in the countertop and works really well with my shore power. Seriously, this amateur builder had no problem working with this cooktop and it looks and works fantastic.The knobs twist a little too easily but all in all, this is a great cooktop for a kitchen or camper build. I highly recommend...and the price is good as well.My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is the fact that the knobs are on the weak side and are easy to

Saw this and thought that it would be a very useful item for table top cooking.There are times when we enjoy as a family sitting at the dinner table and eating a Chinese hot pot. This single electric ceramic hob provides the heating requirements. The fact that it is quite a large unit but with a single hob only means that you can put a large pan on it without issues.The other table top cooking we also enjoy is a Korean bbq where we put a large flat compatible griddle on the hub and everyone takes turns cooking what they would like to eat.This hob was perfect for all of these situations. The controls are touch sensitive and go respond well and the heat control was instant and effective. The fact that it is pretty much a flat surface makes cleaning up easy as we have found our family and guest eating can get slightly messy.This is the first experience of this type of cooking unit and so far have been very impressed as we normally are use to a gas burners for cooking but these are not safe for table top cooking.The instructions indicate that you can install it on a worktop and this could be useful for additional cooking options but for us having this unit portable makes more sense especially when the weather picks up and we can then cook outdoors.My only issues for this single hub unit would be the cost as I can see other single options for less money but are not the full depth of a kitchen worktop.

Dont expect user instructions that are useable. I had to figure it out myself. And it wasn't that simple if the child lock is on. It looks good though. Early days !!

We have had a couple of these hot plates and they each had their good and bad points. Now this one outshines them all. Speed of heating up, safety features and just all around performance this one beats them all

This little cooker top was a godsend to us this Christmas as my husband was cooking for a large group and as we only have one domestic cooker, we used this as a standalone on the side and it helped massively with the extra pans we had.I've had a similar one in the past but the difference with this one is the gold knobs that click up and down effortlessly to control your heat. My other one was touch-activated and the only comparison I can make in that one's favour is it was slightly easier to store in my cupboard as other items can sit flat on top of it. I do prefer the knobs though and I think they look nicer too.The hob can be professionally fitted into a recess in your kitchen surface or simply used as a free-standing hob, which is what we are using it for.As with all ceramic top stoves, they are easy to keep clean but do be aware to leave enough cooling time when they are switched off as they do stay hot for a while. This is indicated by a flashing H so you are alerted that it isn't safe to touch, which is good.So far, I have been delighted with this product and although I would love to have it installed permanently, we just don't have the surface space so this will be used for those times when our oven just isn't enough or we'd prefer to use the electric over the gas.Not much more to say other than if you are seeking something similar, I would be happy to recommend this one.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this Karinear electric cooktop! It heats up incredibly quickly and has all the safety features you'd expect, like a residual heat indicator to prevent accidental burns.The glass surface on mine arrived with a matte finish, which I actually prefer. It seems even more scratch-resistant than a glossy surface. And I love the stylish control knobs – they have a classic, elegant look with a brass finish.I was a bit worried that it might come with a US plug, as shown in some of the product images, but it actually arrived with a UK plug, which was a relief.It's also great that you have the option to use it as a countertop stove or build it into your kitchen counter. It's a really versatile and well-made cooktop, and I'd definitely recommend it.

This dual-ring electric stove has a modern look with an easy to clean smooth ceramic glass top which should remain in good condition for many years. This particular model can be fitted into a countertop hole so that it is recessed and flat with the surface, but if you cannot get it installed like that don't worry, it works fine sitting on top of the counter (using four rubber feet which need fixing with the included screws).The large ring, rated at 1800W, is powerful enough to use for all cooking including frying and boiling, the other smaller one (nearer the control knobs) is only rated at 600W which is quite low but enables slow cooking, simmering and keeping coffee pots warm for example, still I would have liked to see at least 1000W since most kitchens in the UK can easily handle 15A plugs which would supply enough power for both rings. The controls are simple, just two gold/brass coloured knobs and there is a convenient digital LED display of the power level which is useful in dark conditions. There is also a flashing "H" displayed after you turn a ring off until it cools down.The rings are incandescent electric heaters so will work with all flat-based cookware.This stove can also be used as a portable heater, it is not too heavy, but there is no handle so you will have to carry it under your arm or use both hands either side (part of the ceramic glass panel sticks out to help get a good grip)
